In this series I tried to glorify the curves that make these lingerie photos seem so timeless. I focused on recreating a wet plate developed photograph look by adding textures and lighting effect – with just the right amount of patina and age, turning these captured moments in time into a feast for the eyes.
This is an iron oxide photo transfer on to up-cycled wooden plates with metallic acrylic paint. With the many layers of gloss polycrylic, the light “sings” off of the pearlescent paint through the photograph – a shimmering effect that has to be seen in person!
